Childhood Bereavement Network
The Childhood Bereavement Network is the UK’s specialist membership network for organisations supporting grieving children and young people.
What it does
The Childhood Bereavement Network supports charities and professionals across the UK who work with bereaved children and young people. It provides signposting, advocacy, opportunities to share good practice, and peer support for professionals, helping improve the quality and consistency of bereavement care.
What we fund
Our funding supports the Childhood Bereavement Network through our What’s Working programme to work with its members to gather and analyse data on bereavement support. This will help build understanding of what types of bereavement care work best for children and young people in different circumstances, and inform practical improvements to services across the network.
We’re so pleased to be able to work alongside our members to explore some of the crucial evaluation questions we’ve been grappling with as a sector. This funding is giving us a fantastic opportunity to look at these questions in depth.
