MQ is the UK’s leading mental health research charity. Funding research projects across a wide range of mental health conditions, they are aiming to create a world where mental illness is understood, effectively treated, and ultimately prevented.
Why we work with them
We believe in the importance of building evidence of what works in mental health prevention and treatment. Our funding supports MQ to expand mental health research talent, research better interventions, explore disadvantage in mental illness and treatment and engage the public with mental health research. We would like to see MQ succeed in their mission.
The MQ fellowship was transformational for me during my career. It enabled me to conduct a study that would have otherwise been considered too high-risk for conventional sources of funding.
